Do you have insurance?
Yes! Party Zone Inflatables is fully insured. If you would like or need proof of insurance, we will be happy to provide you a copy of our Certificate of Insurance. For some locations, additional insurance may be required and will add $100 to the total rental cost. You may also contact us in advance if you have any specific insurance requirements or questions.
While insurance is not required of inflatable operators in the State of Minnesota, we believe that it is a critical component our companies' safety philosophy. Any operator that you are considering using for your next event should be able to demonstrate that they are dedicated to a safe, clean and fun environment for all of the participants.
Where can the moonwalk be set up?
The moonwalk/bounce unit can be set up on any level area whether it's grass, cement or asphalt. The area should be clean and cleared off all debris and animal waste. The unit will be placed on a tarp for added protection and secured down for safety. Set-up takes about 20 – 30 minutes depending on the unit rented and the location.
Can I pick the unit up?
Sorry, for the safety of the participants, our staff will deliver and set up each unit. We will inspect the area to insure that there are no safety hazards.
How much room do I need?
An area that is at least 10 feet larger than the unit on all sides. The unit should be placed away from pools or waterfronts. No overhead power lines or trees should be present because they may interfere with the unit. Each site will be fully inspected before delivery is completed.
What kind of power do we need?
The unit should be on a dedicated 110V outlet. The outlet must be located within 100 feet of the unit.
Where do you deliver to?
Our service area includes Rochester and the greater SE Minnesota area.
Is there a delivery charge?
Delivery within a 25 mile radius is FREE! All deliveries over 25 miles will incur a $20 fee.
What if it rains or is too windy?
If it is raining or if the grounds are muddy we can not set up a bounce unit. If it's too windy we can not set up a bounce unit. In the event of the possibility of bad weather, you will be given the option to cancel the event at any point prior to the equipment being setup. However, once the equipment has been setup, the full amount of the rental is non-refundable, even if the event is cut short due to bad weather.
What if I have to cancel?
Not a problem, since there are no deposits and there is no cancellation fee. You have the right to cancel at no charge prior to any setup of the inflatables at your party. However, once the unit is setup, no cancellation or refunds are allowed. We do ask that if you need to cancel your reservation that you call us at (507) 398-9783 as soon as possible so that we have the opportunity to rent your inflatable bounce house to somebody else. Generally we have a waiting list for the use of our inflatables, by contacting us early you give somebody else the chance to have fun at their party.
How do I reserve equipment?
Simply call us at 507-398-9783 or email us and one of our representatives will be glad to assist you with any questions and in scheduling your event.
How far in advance should I reserve the equipment?
We are always taking reservations for equipment. The sooner you call the better. Most equipment during the summer season gets booked about 8 weeks in advance, if not more.
When is the payment due?
Payment in full is due upon delivery. Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted.
Is a deposit required to reserve a rental unit?
NO! We do not require a deposit in order to reserve an inflatable bounce house for a typical party or event. All we need is the date, time, location and the unit(s) you want to reserve and we will hold them for you. However, for some of the larger events or festivals we may ask for a deposit to hold the equipment as we get further requests for use of the same equipment.
All inflatables are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. So our most popular inflatables and packages can book up to two months in advance. In order to ensure that you have your first choice of inflatable for your next event, make your reservations early since there is no deposit required. Also, the earlier you make your reservation, the more choices you will have to choose from. We will collect full payment the day of the party when we deliver and setup the inflatable(s).
When and how do I pay for my rental?
We accept cash, check or credit cards for payments. However only cash or check will be accepted when we deliver the inflatables. Credit card payments must be arranged ahead of time. Payment is not due until the day of the event when we arrive to setup for your event. After arrival, we will present a copy of the contract and the invoice for the rental. We will ask the contact to show them the location for the setup of the equipment and then they will collect the payment for the rental. No equipment will be setup without payment.
How many children can bounce at one time?
It is important that children be grouped together based upon age and size while in the inflatable. This is done to prevent any injuries while bouncing. A general rule of thumb is to make sure each child has enough room to bounce with their arms extended without touching any other children.
We will instruct you on the safe operation of the inflatable after it has been setup at your event and will also go over the instructions and how many children are allowed on that specific piece of equipment at this time. If you have any specific questions after this instruction, we will be happy to answer them for you.
Are moonwalks/bounces safe?
Yes! Our units are constructed of industry standard vinyls, fire retardant, and include an inflated safety ramp/step. There should be no problems as long as you adhere to the safety and operating instructions. Please take some time to review all the Safety Information that we have put together in our Rental Agreement (PDF) that describes safe operating guidelines for our equipment.
What are my responsibilities?
You MUST adhere to the safety and operating guidelines. A responsible adult must be present at all times the unit is in use. This person must know the safety and operating procedures and must enforce them at all times. You are responsible for keeping the unit clean and safe from damage.
Are your moonwalks clean? / Is there a cleaning fee?
YES, all equipment is put up, cleaned and sanitized prior to delivery. General cleaning is included with the rental, however excessive cleaning due to intentional neglect may result in extra cleaning fee charges!
